monitor network usage in linux

monitor bandwidth for interface use this iftop

iftop -i eth0 -B

for the interface eth0 show usage is Bytes per second

i am using Fedora 13, I had to install this...

yum search iftop 

search if this package is available in your respository

else..

yum install iftop

it's very small... < 60K
